Practices held twice a week – Wednesday and Saturday.

IMUA welcomes everyone, regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or financial means, with a range of abilities.

IMUA participates in “clean the harbor & Back Bay” days and part of our mission is to protect the ocean, the environment. Our paddlers always pick up debris found in the ocean and the harbor.

IMUA offers “Paddling Introduction” days and other events open to the public to come check out paddling.

IMUA has scholarship opportunities for students or keiki when the situation arises.

IMUA has worked with the City of Newport Beach and Orange County Parks to offer outrigger classes.

We would love to introduce you to this amazing sport! Whether you are new to paddling or are looking to get back on the water, we have a program for you.

Our experienced coaches will teach you everything you need to know, from the basics of paddling to the finer points of racing. We also offer a variety of social events and activities, so you can make new friends and have fun while you’re learning.
